Blair McPherson’s biography

As Head, Portfolio Solutions, Market Products & Services, Blair McPherson’s responsibilities include Securities Finance, Foreign Exchange, Credit Financing, and Cash Management. Based in London, he is responsible for a global team covering 15 countries. Prior to his current role, Mr. McPherson was Head of Technical Sales for Market Products and Services. He originally relocated to London from Toronto in 2003 to establish the global office for the global investment analytics and trade management division of RBC Global Services. Prior to moving to the UK, Mr. McPherson worked in Toronto as Head of Product Management for the investment analytics and transition management divisions.

Mr. McPherson joined RBC Global Services in 2001, having previously worked at Assante Asset Management, and Towers Perrin (now Towers Watson) in the Asset Consulting group. He has been published in numerous trade publications, including: Financial News, ISF Magazine, ISJ Magazine, Funds Europe, The Trade, European CEO, Banker 2000, GSL, and Financial-I. Blair is a regular speaker at Securities Finance Forums.
