Blair McPherson’s biography

As Head of Technical Sales, Market Products and Services Blair McPherson’s product responsibilities include Securities Lending, Foreign Exchange, Investment Products, and Investment Finance.

Prior to his current role, Mr. McPherson was Director Technical Sales for Europe and Middle East, and based in London. Blair originally relocated to London from Toronto in July 2003 to establish the global office for the global investment analytics and trade management division of RBC Global Services, and worked as Head of Product Management for BENCHMARK®, then RBC Global Services’ Canadian investment analytics and trade management services group.

Mr. McPherson joined RBC Global Services in 2001 from Loring Ward Investment Counsel, where he was Senior Manager in the private client division. Prior to this position, he worked at Towers Perrin in the Asset Consulting group.

Mr. McPherson has been published in numerous trade publications, including: Financial News, ISF Magazine, ISJ Magazine, Funds Europe, The Trade, European CEO, International Custody & Fund Administration, Banker 2000, and Financial-I.
