The competitive global investment landscape is evolving rapidly, placing new emphasis on fund domicile selection. As jurisdictional competition intensifies, Luxembourg has emerged as a major centre for both traditional and alternative investment funds, such as hedge funds, real estate and private equity funds. In a special roadshow program, headed ‘Luxembourg – the global opportunity for asset management’, the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) will hold a series of presentations in several US cities. RBC Dexia Investor Services (RBC Dexia) representatives will be present at key events in New York, Greenwich and Chicago and the program will include a number of key presentations and workshops on the European hedge fund industry, real estate and private equity funds and UCITS structures. The sessions will highlight the key strengths of Luxembourg in these areas and as a European fund centre. The conference is expected to attract a wide range of US asset managers keen to learn more about current market developments.
